HISTORY OF THE REGULATION OF CHIROPRACTORS IN B.C.
In 1934, the provincial government established the College of Chiropractors of British Columbia (CCBC) to regulate chiropractors in B.C. Today, more than 1,000 Doctors of Chiropractic practice throughout B.C. These doctors graduate from accredited schools primarily located in North America.
Currently, chiropractors are regulated by the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC under the Health Professions and Occupations Act.
