Possible Canada Post Strike – Important Information for Applicants and Registrants

Home 5 Announcements 5 Possible Canada Post Strike – Important Information for Applicants and Registrants

May 29, 2025

In light of a potential Canada Post strike, the College is taking proactive measures to ensure minimal disruption to our operations and services. We encourage all applicants, registrants, and members of the public to use alternative methods for sending documents and correspondence.

Alternative Submission Methods

To avoid delays, please:

  • Submit documents via email, wherever possible
  • Upload materials directly to the registrant portal (if applicable to your profession)

When original documents are required, please:

  • Drop off materials in person at our Vancouver office
  • Use a courier or shipping service for time-sensitive or critical documents

Temporary Changes to Licensure Processes

We have adapted several processes to reduce reliance on postal services. Please review the following updates:

For Registrants / Registration Applicants
  • Letters of Good Standing
May be requested via email or the registrant portal (depending on your profession). These will continue to be issued by email.
  • Document Submission
Submit documents by email or upload them through the registrant portal.

For Entry to Practice / Examinations
  • All communication and documentation will be handled via email.
  • Traditional Chinese medicine and Acupuncturists Student Packages will be couriered to schools for distribution. Schools are asked to hand out badges directly to students.

Incoming Mail and Deliveries
  • Courier deliveries will continue to be accepted at our office and forwarded to recipients at the College as usual.
