Maintaining a current Certificate of Radiation Safety is an important part of the safe use of X-ray equipment in chiropractic practice. Chiropractors who own, use, or have access to an X-ray machine can support safe practice by ensuring their certificate remains valid and up to date.

If your certificate has expired or is nearing expiry, you must renew it as soon as possible. Upon expiry of your current certificate, you are prohibited from using the x-ray equipment.

To upload your updated certificate through the College’s Licensee Portal, follow the below steps:

  1. Log in to the Licensee Portal.
  1. On the Home page, navigate to the My Forms section.
  1. Locate X-Ray Equipment and select Fill in to complete the submission.

If you need assistance uploading your certificate or have questions about the process, College staff are available to assist you at QAPrograms@cchpbc.ca.
