All licensees are responsible for meeting professional and clinical practice standards, regulatory requirements, and applicable legislation. CCHPBC’s Practice Support helps you understand these obligations and apply them confidently in your day-to-day practice.

Our team includes Practice Advisors licensed in the health professions we regulate, bringing practical experience and an understanding of the unique considerations that may arise across different professions and practice settings. We aim to provide relevant, informed support to assist licensees in applying the College’s bylaws and standards to their individual practice.

How can Practice Support help?

Practice Advisors are available by phone or email and can help direct you to relevant college resources. Common topics include questions about scope of practice, health care records, informed consent, advertising and marketing, and maintaining a safe practice environment. Please note that Practice Advisors provide guidance on professional practice matters and may refer licensees to other resources for legal or business-related questions.

No question is too small. Your inquiries also help the College identify common questions, emerging practice issues, and opportunities to develop resources that support licensees across the professions we regulate.
