We are committed to supporting licensees (registrants) through the transition to the HPOA, which came into force on April 1, 2026. The HPOA does change the day-to-day practice for health professionals. Licensees will continue to deliver care in the same way while becoming familiar with updated standards.

Earlier this year, CCHPBC hosted a series of webinars for licensees. Each webinar in the series focused on a different aspect of the HPOA and related bylaws and standards.
