As part of CCHPBC’S Quality Assurance (QA) Program for Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs), the college launched the Practice Development Program (PDP) for 2025 in February.
The college strongly encourages RMTs to begin the program requirements at their earliest opportunity, starting with logging in to the PDP Portal and completing their self-assessment within the next month. This will help to ensure adequate time to set learning goals, engage in learning activities, and complete reflection in advance of the October 31 deadline.
How to access the PDP?
The PDP for 2025 is available in your PDP Portal.
Your username is your RMT number in the format “RMT-00XXXX” or “RMT-0XXXXX”, where “RMT” is in upper case, “00” are numerical zeroes, and “XXXX” will be replaced with your four-digit or five-digit registration number.
Existing PDP Portal Users: If you have accessed the PDP portal before, your password is the one you created in 2024.
New PDP Portal Users: If you are accessing the PDP portal for the first time, your temporary password was sent to you in February. Upon login, you will be prompted to change your temporary password to a new, stronger password.
Who is required to complete the PDP?
- RMTs who hold Practising status as of January 1, 2025.
- RMTs who hold Practising status as of January 1, 2025, and changed status to Non-practising during 2025.
- RMTs who reinstate their registration on or before March 31, 2025.
